When it comes to buying a new aquarium you need to make sure you put it in the right location. If you do not do this not only will it look bad but you might actually find that the fish start to suffer and die because of it.

The Fish

The main concern that you should have with a new tropical fish tank or marine aquarium is the fish as they are the ones that could easily perish if you put the tank in a location that just wouldn’t work well for them.

something that is dangerous to the fish is direct sunlight, it is going to increase algae in the tank and will kill off the fish. if the sun hits it for an hour or so in the day then you should be okay but any more than this and you are going to have some problems.

Another thing to avoid when it comes to placement of the tank is putting it near a breeze. the is going to be a big problem if you have a tropical tank because it will drop the temperature in the tank which will then result in death of the fish.

Guests/People

A lot of the reason for people getting a fish tank is so they can put it in a place that guests can see and comment on in positive ways. It is always a good idea to find a location that is perfect for the tank and put the tank in place before you even think about buying the fish. it becomes a bit of a challenge if you have the fish in there and then find you do not like the location. Making sure you have the right aquarium supplies in the tank is also a good idea too.
