if you are working all of the time you will find it very hard indeed to keep animals like dogs and cats because of the attention that they need. pets like this do not like being left alone for long periods of time so it is not fair to do so. If you are one of these kinds of people and you still want a pet then maybe it is worth locking into a nocturnal pet or fish. Bear in mind then with fish you are going to need things like a tropical fish tankas well as aquarium lighting. Things like this can come to be quite pricey especially the aquarium supplies but in the end they are worth it because they make great pets.

Social Events

if you like the night out and come back a bit worse for wear a lot of the time then it is not fair to have a pet in the house, they do not like this kind of thing. They will get scared and learn to resent you over time. something that you should also never do is start shouting at them or constantly arguing in the home because it is not fair.

If you really do not think you are going to have time to look after a pet then the thing to do is just not to bother with it.
